"Calero #132" by Craig Scoffone

Craig Scoffone
Dimensions:
Width: 20 Height: 16
In the back country, of Calero County Park, there are some amazing scenes. I first encountered this scene, late in the day, but the light wasn't right. The very next morning, I returned, to record this scene in the lighting that was optimal.

This is an archival digital print, and it is presented, under 20 x 24 black window cut matting, under glass, and black metal frame. "Pleasanton Ridge #51" by Craig Scoffone

Craig Scoffone
Dimensions:
Width: 20 Height: 16
There are a couple of abandoned olive orchards, high on a ridge, over looking Pleasanton, Ca and the Livermore Valley. On yet another hike, as the morning fog and haze, was just starting to burn off, I encountered this composition. Within, maybe just a few minutes, at the most, after I took this image, the sun came out in full force, and the scene, became much more stark and had way too much contrast. As it turned out, I got there, just in the nick of time.

This is an archival digital print, and it is presented, under 20 x 24 black window cut matting, under glass, and black metal frame. "Alum Rock #15" by Craig Scoffone

Craig Scoffone
Dimensions:
Width: 16 Height: 20
This image, I shot on color film, was taken late in the morning, when the fog and haze, was just starting to burn off. I purposely over exposed the image, knowing, that the central area, would ' blow out ' and have an ethereal look about it. Sometimes, experience really does pay off : )

This is an archival digital print, and it is presented, under 20 x 24 black window cut matting, under glass, and black metal frame. "Coast Line #5" by Craig Scoffone

Craig Scoffone
Dimensions:
Width: 20 Height: 16
I was coming back from Mendocino, Ca., and it was near the coastal town of Jenner, I believe, that I stopped to walk around. There was a coastal access trail, so at sunset, low tide, this composition presented itself. The color scheme in this image is particularly beautiful.

This is an archival digital print, and it is presented, under 20 x 24 black window cut matting, under glass, and black metal frame. "Clara's Ranch #30" by Craig Scoffone

Craig Scoffone
Dimensions:
Width: 20 Height: 16
In north east San Jose, at the Milpitas border, just east of Hwy. 680, there is a black walnut orchard. A few years back, when I was still shooting film, I asked the owner of this property, and very sweet, elderly woman named Clara, if I could be her guest, on this amazing property, and take photographs. She was so gracious, and allowed me to do so. This is just one of many, wonderful compositions I was able to create, while visiting that rare orchard.

This is an archival digital print, and it is presented, under 20 x 24 black window cut matting, under glass, and black metal frame.
